WEST POINT, N.Y. (UCFKnights.com) - In its second straight win of the weekend, the No. 69 UCF men's tennis team rallied back to claim a 5-2 win over Army at the Army Kickoff in Lichtenberg Tennis Center on Saturday.

After the Black Knights swept doubles competition to take a 1-0 lead in the match, sophomore Jesse Flores pulled the Knights even with a 6-0, 6-1 straight set win at the number five position. Sophomore Chris Barrus extended UCF's lead with a straight set win on the third court, but Army responded with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles.

Sophomore Inaki Espindola, playing in the second position for the first time this season, rebounded after dropping the first set to take a 3-6, 6-3, 7-6(5) win over Alex Van Velzer. Sophomore Reece Acree clinched UCF's third consecutive win with a 6-4, 5-7, 6-1 win on court six. Sophomore Mariano Porter made his UCF debut with a 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 4 singles.

UCF (4-4) faces Buffalo at 8 a.m. on Sunday in its final match of the Army Kickoff at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center.
