ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFathletics.com) - The 15th-ranked UCF women's soccer team returned home Friday night after playing four matches on the road to defeat Jacksonville (2-1) at the UCF Soccer Complex. Sophomore Kristina Trujic's (Venice, Fla.) goal in the 88th minute put the game away for the Knights.

The Knights improved to 5-1-1 on the season winning their fourth-straight match.

Freshman Jennifer Martin (Plantation, Fla.) scored her first goal of the season in the 31st minute to put UCF on the board. Martin's goal came from 25 yards out down the middle of the field past the JU goalkeeper. Nicolette Radovcic (Rockaway, N.J.) collected the assist.

UCF dominated the ball holding a 14-1 shot advantage over JU in the first half and taking 24 shots in the game. The Knights created a lot of chances on offense, meanwhile, its defensive limited the JU offense to just seven shots in the match.

The Dolphins' (4-4-1) lone goal was scored by Raquel Weckhurst in the 62nd minute tying the match at 1-1.

After 26 scoreless minutes junior Tishia Jewell's (Satellite Beach, Fla.) pass on goal went through the legs of Trujic and was tapped into the net for the win. Jewell collected the assist.

The Knights return to action Sunday afternoon against Florida Golf Coast at the UCF Soccer Stadium at 1 p.m.
