COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (UCFAthletics.com) - The No. 18 UCF women's soccer team had two streaks snapped Friday in a 1-0 loss at Colorado College. The Knights (9-3-3, 4-1-2) were 13-0-2 in their previous 15 regular-season Conference USA matches, as well as 5-0-3 in their last eight outings, before falling to the Tigers (6-5-4, 2-4-1).

Goalkeeper Aline Reis had to make 10 saves for the Knights, which tied a career-high she set as a freshman during the 2008 campaign. Tishia Jewell led UCF with four shots in the loss.

UCF trailed early in the first half on Tiffany Brown's goal in the 12th minute, which would end up being the lone goal of the night. And the Tigers' backs would not allow the Knights to get off a shot on goal in the opening half, while the home team was credited with 11 overall shots for the first 45 minutes. Reis was forced to make six saves to keep it a 1-0 game entering the break.

The Knights eventually put their first shot on goal in the 54th minute, but were outshot once again by Colorado College in the second half. Reis racked up four more saves however the UCF attack could not get anything going as the Tigers held on for the win.

UCF will now look ahead to its final regular-season road game when it faces UTEP Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.
