? The Knights enter Wednesday's three game round-robin event with Bethune-Cookman and Eastern Michigan with a 9-7 overall record. The Black and Gold improved its home record in 2009 to 7-4 with seven games left in its 14-game homestand which began on Feb. 20.

? Senior Breanne Javier needs only two more hits to take sole posession of the No. 3 spot on the UCF all-time register. With 206 career hits, the first baseman trails only Stephanie Best (285), Jania Shinhoster (268) and Cici Alvarez (207). Last season, Javier set a program single-season record with 85 hits. If she can match that number in 2009, she will claim sole possession of second on the register.

? UCF is quickly back on the field as its last game took place Tuesday at the UCF Softball Complex. The Knights defeated Centenary College, 7-3, behind a three-run home run from sophomore Tiffany Lane. Lane led the Knights at the plate with a home run, three RBI and a run scored, while senior Magon Paul added two RBI and scored a run. Also getting key hits for the Black and Gold in the contest were Breanne Javier, Vanessa Perez and Lindsay Dean. Ashleigh Cole registered the win in the circle for the Knights, improving her record to 6-2 on the season.

? Bethune-Cookman makes the short trip to Orlando Wednesday with a 4-11 record on the season after falling to both DePaul and Florida Gulf Coast in its last two outings. The Eagles, who are receiving votes in the USA Today/NFCA National Top-25, meet with the Knights with a 3-3 record in 2009 after splitting in their last two outings. The Eagles defeated No. 22 Louisville, before falling to Florida Gulf Coast.
