Facing Miami in UCF's first home regatta of the year, the varsity 8+ boat used a strong performance to defeat the Hurricanes, notching first with a time of 6:34.79. Miami was almost 10 seconds behind when it crossed the finish line in 6:44.64. The Knights' squad consisted of coxswain Anne Marie Rossi, Caitlin Pauls, Krystina Sarff, Jordynn Pauls, Tara Rogers, Tanis Franchuk, Emma Gresson, Stephanie Adams and Erin Riegel. The Knights return to competition when they host Princeton on Lake Pickett during UCF Athletics Hall of Fame Weekend April 12. UCF also will be in action at the Virginia Invitational April 12-13.
