? Jermaine Taylor hit the 1,000-point mark for his career with 14:39 left in the second half, making him the 14th 1,000-point scorer in school history. Taylor's cousin, Darryl Davis is one of those 14 1,000-point scorers and also played under Kirk Speraw.
? Taylor surpassed his career-high with 34 points against the Thundering Herd as he connected on a career-high 14 field goals. His 23 field goal attempts were also a career-high. Taylor's previous career high came earlier this season when he netted 32 against East Carolina.
? With 34 points, Taylor registered the first back-to-back 30-point outings of his career as he scored 31 in the loss to Houston on Saturday. It was Taylor's fourth 30-point effort of the season.
? Mike O'Donnell connected on a trio of 3-pointers and advanced from a tie for fifth to third place on the UCF career charts with 176 career makes. He also moved up to fifth on the career charts with 450 3-point attempts.
? With two steals in the game, O'Donnell moved up to eighth on the UCF career charts in that category with 134.
? UCF committed only 10 turnovers in the contest, marking the third time that the squad has had 10 or less miscues in a game this season.
? In the win, Tony Davis recorded a career-high four steals. Davis and O'Donnell led the Knights on the glass, as each player grabbed five rebounds.
