SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. - The UCF women's golf team stands in eighth place after 36 holes of play at the Ross Resorts Invitational at Pine Needles. The Golden Knights carded an opening round score of 321 and a second round score of 322 for a 36-hole total of 643 (+75). Georgia State (598, +30) is the event leader after two rounds.
Two Golden Knights are currently in the top 30 with 18 holes to play. Junior Kristy McLaughlin is tied for 23rd with a 36-hole score of 157 (+15) to lead all UCF golfers.
Junior Holly Boot is one stroke behind McLaughlin in a tie for 28th with a two-round score of 158 (+16).
UCF rounds out play Tuesday with the final round of play from Pine Needles.
