Taryn Cressy joined the UCF women's soccer staff in August 2014 as the director of operations. She came to Orlando after spending the previous four years in Richmond as a midfielder at VCU.
Cressy was a four-year letterwinner for the Rams and started every match her senior year in 2013. In her sophomore and junior seasons, she helped lead the team to the title game of the conference championship. Over her career, she tallied six goals and six assists. She earned her bachelor's degree in science with a concentration of general health and physical education in 2014.
A native of Boise, Idaho, Cressy played five years with the ODP state squad and her club team captured state championships while she played for the U-16 and U-17 teams.
