Mandi Mawyer Season 2005-06

FISHTER ON MAWYER... 'Mawyer has an unmatched presence on the field. She has a strong voice and is not shy in being what I would call a drill seargent behind the defense. She takes responsibility for what happens in front of her and demands perfection from her team. She[apos]s a great goalkeeper in the making.'
2006... Made her collegiate debut at Marshall...played 18 minutes without allowing a goal to share the 4-0 shutout of the Thundering Herd with starting keeper Jennifer Manis.
2005... Redshirted.
PRIOR TO UCF... A four-year starter at Douglas MacArthur High School...earned all-district and all-city honors all four years...also a three-time TASCO all-region member...selected to the Northloop All-Tournament Team...claimed the Victoria Texas Tournament MVP award in 2004...started for the South Texas State Champions, the Austin Warriors...a member of the South Texas State ODP team.
