Jessica Hallgren Season 2004-05

CROMWELL ON HALLGREN... 'Jessica is a strong and athletic player, who is versatile enough to play center back, left back or up top. She plays a great ball in on set pieces and can nail a shot from distance. Hallgren will be a handful for the opposition wherever she is on the field.'
2006... Started seven games before suffering a season-ending injury at Florida State...scored a pair of goals at Florida International...seven of the 10 shots she registered were on goal.
2005... Started in the first 13 matches before sustaining a season-ending injury at UTEP...recorded a career-high three points (1 goal, 1 assist) against Florida International.
2004... Earned a starting role in all 23 matches...anchored the defense that helped UCF maintain a perfect record against teams from the state of Florida...named to the Atlantic Sun All-Freshman Team...received SoccerBuzz.com Southeast Region All-Freshman Team and Freshman All-America Third Team honors...Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team.
PRIOR TO UCF... Four-year letterwinner for Clearwater Central Catholic High School...helped the squad advance to the state final four all four seasons...named honorable mention all-county after leading the team with 16 assists as a freshman...first-team all-county and all-state in her final three seasons...scored 28 goals and added 30 assists as a sophomore...led the team with 30 goals and 35 assists as a junior...selected county and state player of the year after her senior season...earned Mandy Stoll Scholar-Athlete honors...owns the school records for both goals and assists in a career...also earned varsity letters in both track and golf...member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society and Math Honor Society...graduated in the top 10% of her class...transferred to UCF in January 2004 from Florida.
