Jennifer Montgomery Season 2005-06

Jennifer ended her career ranked seventh all-time in shots (189), fourth in goals (38), sixth in assists (27), fourth in total points (103) and fifth in game-winning goals (8). She was also ranked in seasonal categories such as second in goals (17 in 2002), fourth in assists (12 in 2002), first in total points (46 in 2002) and eighth in game-winning goals (4 in 2004).

SENIOR (2005): Played in all 22 matches for the Golden Knights...was first on the team in assists (7) and second in goals (4) and points (15)...scored a season-high two goals at Tulane (10/7)...picked up a career-high two assists against East Carolina (10/14) and Rice (10/28)...had the game-tying assist in UCF[apos]s Conference USA debut against Southern Miss (9/30)...picked up the assist on the game-winning goal against East Carolina (10/14)...ranked fourth in C-USA for assists...was named to the C-USA All-Conference Second Team.

JUNIOR (2004): Started all 23 games for UCF...was third on the team in goals (7), assists (6), points (20), shots (52) and shots on goal (22)...had game-winning goals against USF(9/8), Air Force (9/12), Gardner-Webb (9/23) and Jacksonville (10/17)...recorded four points (one goal, two assists) against Lipscomb (9/30)...recorded three points (one goal, one assist) against USF (9/8), Tulane (9/10) and Jacksonville (10/17)...recorded a goal against No. 10 Florida (11/12) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament...was named Atlantic Sun All-Conference Second Team...was named A-Sun Offensive Player of the Week (9/13).

SOPHOMORE (2003): Led UCF in goals (10) and was second in points (22)...started all 21 matches she played...tied for third in the conference in goals and ranked seventh in points...also recorded 38 shots...earned second team All-A-Sun recognition...tallied points in seven of the team[apos]s last eight matches...tapped as A-Sun Offensive Player of the Week on 10/20 after scoring three goals in two contests...knocked in the game-deciding goal against Stetson (11/7) in the conference tournament and was named to the all-tournament team.

FRESHMAN (2002): Earned a starting role in 21 of 23 contests...led the team in points (46), goals (17) and assists (12)...second on the team in shots (51) and second in shooting percentage (0.333)...nine multiple point matches...registered points in all but six games...tallied two goals, including the game-winner, and an assist for five points in her collegiate debut vs. Quinnipiac (8/30)...also had a five-point game with two goals and an assist against Belmont (10/6)...knocked home two goals against Samford (10/21) and Jacksonville (10/16)...ranks first in the UCF record book for most points in a single season...also fourth in program history for assists in a season and second all-time for goals in a season...led the conference in points, while she was second in goals scored and third in assists...named A-Sun Player of the Week on 10/28...garnered A-Sun All-Freshman Team, All-Tournament Team and first team all-conference honors...selected as the Atlantic Sun Freshman of the Year... selected by Soccer Buzz as a Second Team Freshman All-America and also earned Third Team All-Southeast Region honors...named to the All-South Second Team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

PRIOR TO UCF: Four-year letterwinner at Colton High School...named to All-CIF second team her sophomore and junior years...recorded her best offensive effort her freshman year, scoring 27 goals and assisting on 14 for 68 points...collected 94 goals and 50 assists for 238 points in four years...participated in the ODP for five years and led team to 1999-2000 state and regional championships, and adidas Cup National Title...a three-year member of the Irvine Strikers Soccer Club premier squad...one of the Top 100 players in the country invited to attend the adidas Elite Soccer program.
