As a Junior (2009)
Highest finish this season has been 2nd place at the Black & Gold Invitational.
2008: Showed great improvement and was one of only two UCF runners to score in each meet...Season included three top-10 finishes...Finished third overall and second on the team in helping UCF to a win at the FLRunners.com Invitational and setting a personal best with a time of 18:36.27...Third on the team at the C-USA Championships, finishing in 19:12....Fourth on the team at the NCAA South Regional...One of two Knights named to the C-USA All-Academic Team.
2007: Ran in two events as a freshman, scoring in one for the Knights...Helped the team finish fifth at the FLRunners.com Invitational in her collegiate debut, running the course in 20:05.30 with a 13th-place finish, second on the Knights...Also competed in the Stetson Invitational and finished 66th overall with a time of 21:34.
Prior to UCF: Attended Pineview High School but competed for Riverview High School, where she ran for the cross country and track teams...Finished in the top 30 at the state level during her freshman season...Posted a freshman record in the 5K at 19:58...Placed 14th at the state championships during her sophomore season...Recorded a season-best time of 19:26 in both her sophomore and junior years...won the regional and county titles and took 11th at the state championships as a senior...Ran a personal-best 19:13 that year...Member of the creative writing and environmental clubs.
Personal: Born in Livingston, N.J....Daughter of Dr. Adam and Dawn Cohen...Plans to major in biology.
