Prior to UCF: As a senior running for Lemon Bay High School, she won the district championship in the two-mile run with a time of 12:55.39...In the 5K run, she was the county champion as a sophomore, junior and senior... Finished as the county runner-up in the 5K as a freshman...Set a personal best of 19:37.00 in the 5K as a junior...Also registered her best time in the mile as a junior, running the event in 5:36.00...As a freshman, ran a personal-best time of 1:00.00 in the 400.
