LaTonya Loche is in her second season as a graduate assistant coach at UCF.
Loche came to UCF after finishing a stellar career at Tennessee in 2008. While a student-athlete on the UT track and field team, Loche put herself in the record books on numerous occasions. She left as a 12-time All-American and four of the relay teams she participated on were school record holders upon her graduation.
Loche was born and raised in Bastrop, La., where she was a three-year member of the track and field team at Bastrop High School. While in high school, she claimed six individual Louisiana 4A state titles, including three in the 100-meter dash.
She graduated from Tennessee in 2008 with a bachelor[apos]s degree in sociology and criminal justice. Loche is currently pursuing her master[apos]s degree in criminal justice from UCF.
