Tia Harewood Season 2007-08

2007... Ran the 55m hurdles in 8.61 at the Florida Intercollegiate...collected 2,687 points in the pentathlon at the Gladstein Invitational...ran a season-best 9.23 in the 60m hurdles at the Clemson Invitational....finished eighth in the pentathlon with 3,107 points before posting a time of 9.24 in the 60m hurdles at the C-USA Indoor Championship...took third in the 100m hurdles (14.70) at the UCF Invitational...grabbed fourth place in the 100m hurdles (14.76) at the USF Invitational...posted a time of 14.62 in her preliminary heat of the 100m hurdles before taking seventh in the event finals at the Disney Invitational...earned third place in the shot put and 200m dash as she collected 4,214 points and took fourth place in the heptathlon...also finished third in the open 100m hurdles at the meet...recorded a time of 14.71 in the 100m hurdles and a mark of 5-1 in the high jump at the Miami Elite Invitational...earned fourth in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.55 at the Golden Knight Twilight...collected 4,090 points to take seventh in the heptathlon at the at the C-USA Outdoor Championship...won the 100m hurdles with a time 14.88 and was fourth in the high jump at 5-1.25 during the multi-events.
Prior to UCF... Attended Norfolk State as a freshman and sophomore...named a scholar-athlete...took 11th in the heptathlon with 3,808 points at the MEAC Outdoor Championship in 2006...earned 12 letters as a three-sport athlete at Half Hollow Hills East High School...a three-time all-county selection in both the 100m and 400m hurdles...a member of the honor roll.
