Katorie Stinney Season 2007-08

2007... Leaped 5-4.25 in the high jump at the Gladstein Invitational....took fourth in the high jump at 5-4.25 and ran the 200m in 26.54 at the Clemson Invitational...earned all-conference honors with a third place finish in the high jump (5-6.50) at the C-USA Indoor Championship...ran the second leg for the 4x100m relay team that took fourth at the Disney Invitational...took third in both the long jump (17-6.75) and the triple jump (37-9.50) at the USF Invitational...placed fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 38-6.75 at the Disney Invitational...leaped 5-3 in her outdoor debut at the Florida Relays...matched that mark in the high jump and ran the third leg of the 4x100m relay that took fifth place at the Miami Elite Invitational...went 5-3.75 in the high jump at the Golden Knight Twilight...leaped 5-3 to finish in the top 10 of the high jump at the C-USA Outdoor Championship.
Prior to UCF... A two-sport athlete at Rockledge High School...named scholar-athlete of the year...won the district and conference championship in the high jump her final three seasons...qualified for the state meet in the 4x400m relay as a sophomore and took fourth in the 4x100m relay as a junior...earned the regional title in the high jump as a senior...was the state runner-up in the high jump that year with a mark of 5-6...also a letterwinner in basketball, leading the country in rebounding as a freshman and blocks as a senior.
