Dr. Gabriel Pagán-Llorens is a licensed psychologist in the state of Florida and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Dr. Pagán-Llorens graduated in 2010 with a master's degree in industrial/organizational psychology from the Carlos Albizu University, San Juan Campus, and in 2016 with a doctorate in clinical psychology from Ponce Health Sciences University. Dr. Pagán-Llorens completed his APA pre-doctoral internship at New Mexico State University and is a member of the National Register of Health Service Psychologists.
For the past eight years Dr. Pagán-Llorens has worked at University Counseling Centers (UMass Amherst, New Mexico State University, The Ohio State University, and University of Central Florida) providing mental health services to university students, outreaches, and consultation, as well as developing/facilitating trainings and presentations to faculty, staff, and/or students. Dr. Pagán-Llorens's theoretical orientation is relational/interpersonal and often incorporates cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based interventions based on client strengths, goals, and needs.
Dr. Pagán-Llorens played collegiate soccer for Indiana Wesleyan University for three seasons. He also played in Puerto Rico’s professional soccer league and was a member of the Puerto Rico national soccer team.
