Finished the spring with a 1-8 singles mark... went 3-0 in doubles play with Johan Beigart... earned his first singles win as a Knight against Louisiana Lafayette[apos]s Janusz Conradi, 6-2, 6-3... in doubles play, posted an 8-4 win at No. 1 with Beigart in the first round of the Conference USA Championship against No. 70 UAB[apos]s Tyrone Ewels and Slawomir Szeremeta... at home, blew past Jacksonville[apos]s Jordi Ballester and Francisco Riveroll, 8-3, with Beigart at No. 1... registered an 8-3 win with Claudio Romano at No. 1 against No. 72 Florida Atlantic[apos]s Olivier Sajous and Daniel Vardag... defeated No. 32 Rice[apos]s Ralph Knupfer and Tobias Scheil, 8-5, with Beigart at No. 1.
Prior to UCF
Attended and graduated from Valdosta State... won a pair of regional doubles championships (2005 and 2006)... helped Valdosta State win its first Division II Men[apos]s Tennis Championship in 2006... won the No. 2 doubles spot with Leos Jelinek against Lynn, 8-2... posted an 8-1 mark in singles and 10-4 record in doubles in the spring of 2007... placed twice on the Gulf South Conference All-Academic team... attended Carl-von-Ossietzky Gymnasium in Germany and spent his final semester of high school at Tampa Preparatory as an exchange student.
