Tessa McEvoy joined the UCF athletics staff in the summer of 2019 as an assistant athletic trainer. She works with the men’s soccer and women’s tennis programs.
Prior to arriving at UCF, she worked as an assistant athletic trainer at California State University, Long Beach with the men’s and women’s track and field program. McEvoy received her master’s degree in sports medicine/injury studies from California State University, Long Beach in 2018 while serving as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the women’s softball and men’s and women’s cross country teams.
McEvoy is a native of Seattle, Washington, and graduated from Washington State University in 2016 with her Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training. While at Washington State, she gained experience in a variety of different settings, including spending a year with the football program.
