Juan Schmid Season 2006

Coach Erwin on Schmid... 'Juan is going to be a fantastic player. He is another young man who has benefited from playing for two fantastic coaches in Victor Pastora at Kendell Soccer Coalition and Jay Flipse at Sunset High School. He has great size and technique. We hope to use his verasatility in different positions on the field.'

Prior To UCF... Played four seasons at Miami Sunset Senior High School alongside current teammate Nico Mosquera...Captured the 2004 and 2005 National Championship...Team also appeared in state final four from 2003-05, winning consecutive state titles in 2004 and 2005...Named all-county as a junior...Also played with Mosquera on the West Kendall Club that won the two consecutive state crowns and claimed the 2005 Y-League Championship.
