Peter Archer Season 2006

Coach Erwin on Archer... 'It is going to be great to see Peter finally be able to perform at full fitness. Last year, he was fighting an injury and saw limited time on the field. After having surgery during the winter, he was back to fitness by the spring. It was an amazing transformation and we are looking for Peter to build upon that and have a great year.'
2006... Started 14 of 17 matches he played in the backfield...Anchored a UCF defense that posted shutouts of North Florida, Furman, No. 17 Memphis and Florida International...Recorded two shots against Memphis and UAB...Also registered a shot against Marshall and at Tulsa during the 2006 C-USA Championship.
2005... Saw action in 13 matches, starting five...Registered four shots...Posted a season-high two shots against Stetson...Aided the UCF defense in shutouts of Lafayette, Stetson and East Carolina.
2004... Redshirted.
Prior to UCF... Attended Tyler Junior College...TJC went 18-2 and was ranked among the nation[apos]s top 10 during his freshman season...Knocked in five goals that year...Team was 18-5-1 during his sophomore year...Named NSCAA Junior College All-West and NJCAA All-Region IV that season...Played for Sao Carlos and Magno High Schools...Scored 12 goals as senior and helped the team win at the South State League Championship.
