Prior To UCF... Graduated from East Lake High School, where he was a four-year letterwiner as a center back and center midfielder...Twice named St. Petersburg Times honorable mention all-county...Selected honorable mention all-conference after scoring two goals as a freshman...Posted five goals and earned first-team all-conference recognition as a sophomore...Moved into central midfield for his final two seasons, scoring 15 goals each year...Helped EHS win the Pinellas County District Championship as a junior then captained the Knights to the Pinellas County District Finals as a senior...Named first-team all-conference and all-county that year... Also played with current UCF teammate Adam Martin on the Clearwater Chargers Soccer Club that won the Florida U17 Championship and advanced to the regional tournament in 2006......Inducted into the National Honor Society...Participated in student government...Also won the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Big Brother of the Year award.
