Drew Roberts joined UCF Baseball as the Director of Operations on August 18, 2016. Prior to arriving in Orlando, Roberts served as head coach for St. Andrews University from 2012-2016.
At the helm for St. Andrews, Roberts finished each of his four regular seasons above .500, posting an overall record of 107-99. Under his tutelage, 12 players received All-Conference Team awards including Conference Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year honors. Roberts also served as the recruiting coordinator for St. Andrews from 2010-2012.
Roberts started his collegiate coaching career as a Graduate Assistant Coach with Ohio University (2008-2010) where he received his Master’s Degree in Coaching Education. He also holds a B.A. in Public Relations from Xavier University (Cincinnati, OH).
Roberts was a decorated student-athlete at Xavier, receiving many accolades such as Pre-season Atlantic 10 (A-10) Conference Rookie of the Year, multiple A-10 Conference Player of the Week awards, A-10 Commissioners Award, and the Athletic Advisory Board Award for Community Service.
In the Summer of 2016, Roberts led a team of high school players from around the nation to a competition in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands where the squad won the Robur58 Series. The Robur58 series was part of an international competition organized by Student Athlete World, an organization founded by former college coaches.
