2008 (Redshirt): Earned a medical redshirt...On pitch counts, tossed at least 5.0 innings and grabbed the win in first three starts...Did not allow a run in first two outings...Finished with a 3-1 record and a 5.40 ERA...Struck out 27 in 21.2 innings...Fanned four in 5.0 frames for the victory vs. Monmouth March 7)...Delivered eight strikeouts and allowed just three hits to defeat Central Michigan (Feb. 29)...Starting the season-opener vs. Florida A&M (Feb. 22) and proceeded to limit the Rattlers to two hits in 5.2 innings, striking out eight in the process for the win.

2006 (Sophomore): In 12 appearances, recorded an 0-1 mark with a 7.15 ERA...Struck out eight in 11.1 innings of work...Held left-handed hitters to a 1-for-13 clip...Did not allow a run from March 1 to March 26...Tossed 1.2 innings of scoreless relief at TCU (March 25), where the fastball topped out at 93 MPH...Missed 21 games due to an injury...Returned May 14 vs. Memphis by going 1.0 innings with two strikeouts...Went a career-high 3.1 innings at Southern Miss (May 20).
2005 (Freshman): Battled a nagging injury most of the season...Had a 1-0 record with a 3.38 ERA in four appearances and 2.2 innings...Made first collegiate appearance vs. Bethune-Cookman (April 13)...Pitched one inning of scoreless relief vs. Georgia State (May 15) for first career victory.
Prior to UCF: Four-year letterwinner at Riverwood High School in Atlanta, Ga....Started all four years as a pitcher and in right field...Had an 11-10 career record with a 1.89 ERA...Registered 336 career strikeouts and just 62 walks...Posted a .421 career batting average...Served as captain as a senior...Also earned two letters in basketball...Part of the East Cobb Astros and the AAU National Champion squad...Also part of national championship teams with CABA and the Super Seven Series.
