ORLANDO - As Week 5 in the NFL came to a close, a handful of former Knights notched impressive performances, including some milestones along the way.
Cowboys rookie linebacker Malachi Lawrence went head-to-head with the Buccaneers this week. He sacked quarterback Jalon Daniels in the third quarter, recording the first sack of his NFL career, setting Tampa Bay back 11 yards. Lawrence faced Daniels during UCF’s 2025 campaign on Oct. 4. Lawrence continued to add to his list of career firsts this week, recording the first pass breakup of his NFL career. The disruption stalled the Buccaneers’ opening drive of the second quarter, helping the defense force a punt just a few plays later.

After making plenty of tacklers miss in last week’s highlight catch out of the backfield, RJ Harvey continued to post impressive numbers when it comes to yards after catch. Following his game against the Chargers, the Broncos’ running back has chalked up 198 yards after catch, which ranks second in NFL, sitting only behind Atlanta’s Drake London. Harvey trails London by just 23 yards.

Aiding in Atlanta’s defensive effort, Mike Hughes tallied six tackles in an overtime loss to the Ravens. Through Week 5, Hughes has recorded 25 tackles, including one for loss for the Falcons.
