ORLANDO - Following a 2-1 clip over the weekend, a pair of Knights have been named to the Wake Forest Invitational All-Tournament Team after UCF volleyball left with the best record across the field.
After being named to the Black and & Gold Classic All-Tournament team to open the season, Sasha Cohen was tabbed the MVP of the Wake Forest Invitational after another formidable performance at the net.
The junior totaled 1.33 kills per set and an impressive 1.08 blocks per set while totaling 25 points. In a three-set sweep over Davidson, Cohen boasted six kills on an .750 hitting percentage while securing four blocks.
After her second weekend of action, Cohen remains among the top middles in the Big 12, ranking third in blocks per set with 1.64 and hitting percentage with a .444 clip.
Chapman, who enjoyed a career day against Davidson, picked up All-Tournament team honors. In the sweep over the Wildcats, the senior boasted the second-highest hitting percentage in program history (minimum 10 attempts), posting a .857 clip while recording a career-high 12 kills and 13.5 points.
In the first two contests, the Indiana native added another 11 kills and six blocks, pairing nicely with Cohen to continue UCF’s forceful start defensively.
After ranking third in the conference in hitting percentage a season ago, Chapman is the pace-setter early on with a .452 clip.

The Knights return home for a pair of non-conference bouts, first welcoming Stetson on Wednesday, September 9, before a dual with Virginia on Saturday, September 12.
