Marron Signs Contract Extension Through 2030

ORLANDO – After leading the Knights to their 11th NCAA regional appearance, including the highest seed (No. 3) in program history, UCF women’s golf head coach Emily Marron has signed a contract extension that will keep her at the helm through the 2029-30 season.

“I’m incredibly grateful and honored to continue leading UCF women’s golf into the future. Thank you to Associate Athletics Director Tim Allen and Director of Athletics Terry Mohajir for your trust, support and belief in me and our program. I don’t take this opportunity lightly. Fifteen years at UCF has given me the privilege of coaching incredible young women, building a program I’m deeply proud of and being part of something bigger than golf.”

Since taking over the program ahead of the 2012-13 season, Marron has guided the Knights to 11 NCAA regional appearances, including one NCAA Championship appearance in 2019, and has helped UCF send at least one representative to the postseason in 12 seasons.

Under Marron’s leadership, the Knights have won two conference championships and finished in the top two seven times in 14 seasons. UCF has also produced four conference Freshman of the Year award winners, four Player of the Year award winners and 24 all-conference selections. Marron has earned two Coach of the Year honors during her tenure.

“Emily has built UCF women’s golf into a perennial postseason program while developing outstanding young women on and off the course. Her sustained success, highlighted by 11 NCAA regional appearances and the highest regional seed in program history last season, reflects the strong culture and foundation she has established during her 15 years at UCF. We are excited to have Emily continue leading our program into the future.”
