ORLANDO – For the 20th time in program history the UCF women’s golf team will head to NCAA Regionals, this year in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with play from May 11-13.

The Knights travel to Ann Arbor as the No. 3 seed, marking the highest seed the Black and Gold have received in program history. UCF will compete against 11 other teams along with six individuals. A strong field lies ahead for the No. 14 UCF including #2 Southern California, #10 Duke, #23 Oklahoma, #29 Ohio State, #32 Northwestern, #28 Kansas, #48 Texas Tech, UNLV, Columbia, Quinnipiac and Oakland.

The trip to Ann Arbor marks the second the Knights have competed in the Ann Arbor Regional. The three-day event will be held at the University of Michigan Golf Course. The course was designed in the late 1920s by Alister MacKenzie, the architect of the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georga. The course officially opened in the spring of 1931 and immediately drew praise as one of the finest in America. At the time of its opening, the University Golf Course became just the fourth course to be located on a college campus. The U-M Golf Course is one of only six MacKenzie-designed golf courses in the United States. The course measures as 6,265 yards and plays to a par 71.

The Black and Gold finished out the regular season with nine top-5 finishes, marking the most in a season under head coach Emily Marron. UCF also claimed two tournament titles this season one in the fall at the Illini Invitational and another in the spring at the Lady Luck Invitational.

The Knights lineup features Mila Jurine, Pimpisa Sisutham, Molly Smith, One Kashima, Tiffany Tsai and Jamie Camero will serve as the substitute.

UCF is set to tee off on Monday, May 11 at 8 a.m. on hole No. 1 and will be paired with Duke and USC.
