ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The UCF women's golf team wrapped their second day of play at the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional with a team score of 294 (+10). A windy day in Ann Arbor led to all teams being above par on the round. The Knights sit behind #10 Duke heading into round three.
One Kashima is tied for sixth place with a 71 (E) after a phenomenal final four holes. Kashima started her round of consistently with six consecutive pars, and finished her round with three birdies on the last four holes. Kashima secured a birdie on her final hole with a chip in putt.
Pimpisa Sisutham played close to par all morning and is tied in fourth for the most pars at the tournament with 25. Sisutham finished her second round tied for 11th after carding a 73 (+2). Mila Jurine is tied for 30th place after shooting 74 (+3), Jurine sunk a 30-foot putt to earn a birdie on hole no. 5.
Molly Smith secured a 36 (+1) on the front nine to start her day. Smith finished the day tied for 40th place with a 76 (+5). Tiffany Tsai carded a 79 (+8) on the day, with a difficult back nine. She is tied for 52nd heading into round three.
The Knights will tee off for Round Three of the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional on Wednesday, May 13 at 8 a.m. on hole No. 10.
