ST AUGUSTINE, FLA. - The UCF women's golf team rounded out the Coach Mo Invitational with a 3rd place finish. The Knights finished above par in the first two rounds, but fought to keep their top 5 finish by shooting 286 (-2) in the final round.
Pimpisa Sisutham finished tied for 1st place, earning her third first place finish. Sisutham tallied 8 birdies and 1 eagle on the week, and was the only golfer to finish under-par during all three rounds.
Molly Smith shot a 77 (+5) in round one, but jumped almost 50 spots on the leaderboard during round two with a 67 (-5), and carded a 70 (-2) in round three to finish two under-par and tied for 6thth. One Kashima had three steady rounds, firing a 73 (+1), 75 (+3), and 73 (+1) to tie for 22nd, tallying 9 birdies on the week.
Mila Jurine totaled a 74 (+2) in round one, before carding an 80 (+8) on her seconrd round during day one. Jurine finsihed at 74 (+2) during round three and closed out the invitational tied for 45th.
Kinga Kusmierska posted a 77 (+5) and a 79 (+7) on day one, but jumped 10 places in the rankings after carding a 73 (+1) during round three. Tiffany Tsai playing as an individual, rounded out her first round with a 75 (+3) and an eagle on hole seven, before carding a 71 (-1) in round two, and a 73 (+1) in round three. Tsai gained her second eagle of the weekend on hole 1 in round three.
The Knights will return to the course April 6th and 7th for the Huntington Bank Collegiate hosted by SMU at Trinity Forest Golf Club.
