Fulks Tabbed to NABC All-District Second Team

by Aiden Kocol

ORLANDO – Coming off the heels of the Knights' first selection to the Big Dance since 2018-19, UCF men’s basketball guard Themus Fulks has been named to the NABC All-District Second Team in the Southeast District.

The latest nod adds to a strong haul of conference honors Fulks collected last week, including selections to both the All-Newcomer Team and the All-Big 12 Third Team. It also marks his first NABC recognition. He becomes the sixth Knight to earn the honor, joining Keyshawn Hall (2024-25), B.J. Taylor (2018-19), Keith Clanton (2011-12, 2012–13), Isaiah Sykes (2012-13) and Jermaine Taylor (2008-09).

Last season, the NABC introduced a new Division I district model, shifting from conference-based alignment to a state-based structure. The updated format features 10 geographic regions, each encompassing multiple states, with every Division I program placed in the district corresponding to its home state. UCF competes in a district that includes Alabama, Arkansas, Florida and Mississippi.

Fulks has been the heartbeat of the Knights’ offense this season, averaging 14.1 points across 32 games while leading the team with 6.7 assists per contest. He currently ranks third among active Division I players with 789 career assists.

The Winston-Salem native has recorded 214 assists this season, breaking the program’s single-season record of 183 set by Sinua Phillips in 1991-92. He has also reached several additional milestones: becoming the first Knight to record five double-digit assist games in a single season, the first UCF player this century to post four point-assist double-doubles in a season, and the first in program history to notch back-to-back games with at least 10 assists.
