MELBORNE, Fla. - The UCF women’s golf team wrapped up play at the Moon Golf Invitational on Tuesday afternoon, tying for 9th place at Suntree Country Club with a team score of 885 (+21).
The competition was loaded with top talent, including No. 5 Florida, #6 Texas A&M, and #8 Auburn who claimed the title. UCF entered the tournament ranked 15th.
Senior Pimpisa Sisutham captured her third top-10 finish with a tie for 3rd place at 214 (-2). She closed with a 68 (-4) in the final round, carding six birdies.
One Kashima recorded a 220 (+4) to finish tied for 25th after a 75 (+3) in her final round.
Mila Jurine turned in a 224 (+7) to finish tied for 42nd, Jurine went bogey-free her first nine holes on Tuesday morning.
Molly Smith rose seven places in the ranks on the closing day of the Moon Golf Invitational to finish tied for 63rd, shooting 74 (+2) and 228 (+12) total. Tiffany Tsai finished with a 238 (+22), and tied for 83rd.
Kinga Kusmierska competed as an individual, tying 76th place with a 232 (+16).
The Knights now turn their focus to the UNLV Invite, at the Las Vegas Country Club, March 2nd and 3rd.
