ORLANDO - After a month-long break, the Knights are lacing up for their second straight appearance at the Bradley Pink Classic this Friday, Oct. 17th.

The Black and Gold enter this meet riding the momentum of a standout performance at the Southern Showcase, where sophomore Yvone Sandui led the Knights to a tenth-place team finish while setting a new personal-best time of 17:11.9. The mark also earned her the title of the second-fastest woman in program history and the third-best 5k time in the record books. Alexandra Raquet, Kendall Hughes, Paige Jaszczak, and Abigail Clements also posted PRs highlighting a strong overall performance.

Last year at the Bradley Pink Classic, the Knights placed 19th while setting multiple PRs. Looking ahead to Friday, the Knights aim to keep this record-breaking path as they travel to Illinois to conquer the first 6K of the season.

Clements, Masha Dorofeev, and Penelope Sosa will race in the white division, set to take off at 1:45 p.m. EST. The red division, featuring Sandui, Raquet, Hughes, Paige Jaszczak, Riley Jaszczak, Daisy Ross, Ava Quattrocchi, Madison Patchan, Bailey McLain, and Izzy Richardson, is scheduled to run at 3:15 p.m. EST.

Racing on Newman Golf Course, each division will pace two laps around a 2000m flat loop before the course takes the runners to a rolling hill loop, driving them toward the finish line. Both races will be streamed live on ESPN+, you can find the link to watch here.

This will be the last regular-season race for the Knights as they prepare to head to the Big 12 Championships in Lawrence, Kan., in just over two weeks. The conference championships will be held at Rim Rock Farm on Oct. 31st.
