ORLANDO - The UCF women’s tennis team is set to open its fall season with a trip to Waco, Texas, for the Big 12 Individual Championships at the Hurd Tennis Center on Sept. 25-28.

The tournament begins Thursday, the 25th, at 11:00 a.m. ET with multiple draws of singles and doubles play, concluding on Sunday, the 28th.

Seven Knights are headed to the Lone Star State to vie for a Big 12 individual or doubles champion title. This marks UCF's return to the event after its 2023 appearance at the Big 12 Individual Championships, where former Knight, Noel Saidenova, secured the champion title in her draw.

Freshmen Marina Gatell and Lauren Seye are set to make their collegiate debuts at the event, joined by sophomore transfer Vladislava Andreevskaya, who will compete for the first time in a UCF uniform. Returning Knights Olivia Bergler, Jade Psonka, Hannah Rylatt, and Jantje Tilbuerger complete the roster of competitors for the event.

There will be live video streaming on PlaySight for fans to watch. In addition, the tournament page can be accessed here.
