NORMAN, Okla. — UCF sits in sixth place after two rounds at the Schooner Classic on Saturday, paced by under-par efforts from Molly Smith and Pimpisa “Sandwich” Sisutham.
Oklahoma State leads the pack with a 16-under team score. With the Knights in 6th place, they are currently ahead of five power four teams.
Smith opened with a 66 (-4) before adding a 70 in the second round to finish tied for 8th place. The Massachusetts native recorded a bogey-free round to start the day.
Sisutham led the day off with a 68 (-2) and followed it up with a one-over par 71. The senior finished out the day tied for 20th place and led the Knights with 29 pars on the day, placing 3rd overall.
Mila Jurine and Kinga Kusmierska wrapped up both rounds, tied for 30th place. Kusmierska posted a steady 70 and 71 across the first two rounds.
Tiffany Tsai rounded out the squad in 80th place with a score of 70 (e) and 80 (+10).
The Knights will tee off in the final round Sunday with a 10 a.m. shotgun start at Belmar Golf Club.
