ORLANDO – The UCF men’s basketball team has added Georgetown transfer Jordan Burks to the 2025-26 roster, as announced by head coach Johnny Dawkins Monday.
“Jordan is a versatile forward who really has a knack for making plays in key situations. He’s a three-level scorer and will add a lot to our team. We’re excited for him to be a Knight.”

He also showcased the ability to knock down threes, shooting 35.6% from long range.
The six-foot-eight forward was a contributor on the defensive end of the floor as well, snatching 26 steals and turning aside 17 shots.
Burks earned a pair of double-doubles late in the 2024-25 season, scoring 11 points while hauling in 10 rebounds against Marquette on March 1 before doing so again on March 31, scoring 16 points with 13 rebounds in Georgetown’s first round victory at the College Basketball Crown over Washington State.
Seven of his nine double-digit scoring performances on the campaign came over the final 10 games of the Hoyas’ slate. Burks worked his way into the starting lineup for the last nine tilts of the season after starting two games earlier in the year.
A native of Decatur, Ala., Burks began his high school career at Heritage Christian in his hometown before attending the Southern California Academy. Ultimately, he finished his career by suiting up for Hillcrest Prep with Overtime Elite to wrap up his pre-collegiate career. He averaged a league-leading 27.1 points per game while with Overtime Elite in 2022-23, reeling in 7.5 rebounds and earning 2.9 assists and 1.4 steals per contest in the process.
Burks is the fifth transfer officially signed to this point, joining center John Bol, forward Jamichael Stillwell and guard George Beale Jr. and Themus Fulks.
