Stevens Joins UCF Volleyball as Assistant Coach

ORLANDO – Cameron Stevens, a familiar face to the UCF volleyball program, has rejoined the Knights as an assistant coach ahead of their 2024 season, head coach Jenny Maurer announced on Tuesday.

Stevens spent the last two years as assistant coach at High Point, where he helped lead the Panthers to consecutive Big South Tournament Championships. In his two seasons with the program, HPU recorded two 20-win seasons with overall records of 24-7 (2022) and 23-8 (2023).

“We are ecstatic to welcome Cameron Stevens back to UCF. Cam is no stranger to coaching nor UCF and we are fortunate that he’s bringing his experience over the past few years back to Orlando. His familiarity with our mission and values at UCF will allow him to step right in and complete our staff as we head into our second season in the Big 12.”

“I would first like to thank Jenny (Maurer) for bringing me back to Orlando. I have a ton of respect for what she has done during her time at UCF, and I’m excited for the future of this program. Thank you to our Deputy AD and sport administrator, Chris McFarlane for giving me the opportunity to come back and join this staff. His leadership and support are over and beyond. Also, I’m looking forward to working with and learning from Michaela (Franklin), Jason (Tanaka), and Erin (Olson). My wife, my kids and I are very excited to be back here at UCF. We’re excited to continue building on the success of a championship program as we go into year two in the Big 12.”
