UCF Baseball 2024 Summer League Participants

ORLANDO – The UCF baseball team has several student-athletes taking part in five different collegiate summer baseball leagues around the country this summer. See below for a full list of where the Knights are playing their summer league action in 2024.

Cape Cod Baseball League
Tyler Kozera (RHP) - Chatham Anglers

New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL)
Josh Fernald (RHP) - Martha’s Vineyard Sharks

Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League

AROUND THE LEAGUES

Andrew Williamson – Fresh off a solid freshman campaign here in Orlando, the outfielder is off to a stellar start in summer ball as he was recently named the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League Hitter of the Week after posting a 1.437 OPS in six games for the Bethesda Big Train with five doubles, one home run, and seven runs batted in. After going 4-for-6 on Tuesday, Williamson is currently batting .448 with eight extra-base hits (7 2B, 1 HR), nine RBIs, 10 runs scored, and three stolen bases.

Grant Siegel – In three starts this summer with the Wausau Woodchucks, Siegel is 1-0 with a 1.38 ERA. He has struck out 10 over 13.0 innings of work while walking just two. He earned the win in his last start against the Eau Claire Express on June 12 after allowing just one run on two hits while fanning four.   

Tyler Kozera – In one appearance with the Chatham Anglers, the rising sophomore has allowed just one run on the year. Kozera tossed an inning and a third against the Hyannis Harbor Hawks on June 18 and surrendered just one run on two hits while striking out one.
