ORLANDO - A program-best 16 members of the UCF Rowing team were named Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholar-Athletes Friday morning.

Georgia Coyne earned her fourth-straight CRCA Scholar-Athlete nomination and Aryann Johnson earned her third straight.

Earning their second nominations, Anna Kayser Gallego, Emily Klysen, Lindsey Buckreis, Saskia Papsova, Matrina Pischedda and Charlotte Wiley.

Eight Knights, including Lauren Montgomery, Liza Lutter, Aubrie Russo, Sofia Soria, Sophia Troia, Tegan Fookes, Meagan Lukavec and Julia Going, earned their first CRCA Scholar-Athlete nominations.

The 2023 list of scholar-athletes bested the previous program-high of 14 set in the 2020-21 season. UCF tied its previous best in the 2021-22 season. This is the fifth consecutive season with more than 10 CRCA scholar-athletes for the program.

To be eligible for CRCA Scholar-Athlete accolades, each rower must be in at least her second year of eligibility and hold a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher through the fall semester for the 2022-23 season.
