Dillon, Zumach Earn Weekly AAC Honors

ORLANDO— Claudia Dillon and Kari Zumach each received American Athletic Conference Weekly Honors after a 2-0 week for UCF, the conference announced on Monday.

"All year long we've had so many players put up great performances over a weekend, said UCF Head Coach Todd Dagenais. "It was nice to see Claudia and Kari get some recognition. It's good for them and all the work that they've putting in. As well as their connection with Amber on the court."
 
Dillon was named AAC Offensive Player of the Week for the first time this season. She recorded a total of 19 kills and 10 blocks with a stellar attacking percentage of .750 in two matches last week. The senior posted a season-high 11 kills on 15 attempts to record a .667 attacking percentage against South Florida last Wednesday and followed that preformance with eight kills on nine swings to tally an .889 attacking percentage in Friday's sweep at Cincinnati.

Zumach was named to the AAC honor roll for the first time this season. The Buffalo, Minnesota, native recorded 18 kills and six blocks for the Knights last week. Zumach ended the week with a .500 attacking percentage, recording an identical stat line in both matches with nine kills and a .500 attacking percentage. 

The Knights will head to Tulsa on Friday, Oct. 28 with first serve slated for 5 p.m. The match will air live on ESPN+.
