Softball Unveils Fall Schedule

UCF Softball 2022-23 Fall Schedule

ORLANDO – After making it to NCAA Super Regionals for the first time in program history, the UCF softball team is back in action as its set for the 2022 fall season.
 
The Black and Gold will have their first meeting of the fall campaign on the road in St. Augustine against Flagler on Sept. 30th, followed by another away game at Jacksonville University on Oct. 2nd at 12 PM.
 
On Oct. 8 at 1 PM, the Knights will take on the Florida Southern Moccasins as part of five straight contests at home. The following day sees the Knights face the College of Central Florida. The Patriots finished their 2022 season with a 16-4 conference record.
 
The Black and Gold will charge back up to play Seminole State College on Oct 14 at 6 PM. After a two-week break, the Knights return on Oct. 28 at 6 PM play Stetson. The Hatters finished last season with a record of 21-35.
 
UCF will play its final home game of the fall season against Florida. The Knights played the Gators closely in their two meetings last season and will square off again on Nov. 4 at 6 p.m. Head coach Cindy Ball-Malone coached alongside Tim Walton at the 2022 World Games this summer as part of Team USA. Charla Echols, Amanda Lorenz and Michelle Moultrie played for Ball-Malone and Walton and helped Team USA reclaim the title of World Champions.
 
The Black and Gold finish off the fall campaign on the road in Jacksonville against North Florida on Nov. 11 at 4 PM. The Knights faced the Ospreys during the spring, coming away with a 2-1 victory.
 
All fall games at the UCF Softball Complex are free to attend.
