UCF Signs Mehdi Benchekroun

ORLANDO – The UCF men's tennis team signed Mehdi Benchekroun for the 2022-23 season, Director of Tennis John Roddick announced on Thursday.

"We are excited to have Mehdi joining us," Roddick said. "He has been one of the best players in Africa over the past several years."

Mehdi Benchekroun comes to UCF from Morocco where he gained a lot of experience in tournament play.

"He is going to be a great addition to our program on and off the court. We can't wait to get started with him."

The Morocco native looks to come in and make an immediate impact on the court for the Knights. He joins a team with a trio of all-conference performers in Trey Hilderbrand, Lleyton Cronje, and Brodan Pavel.
