CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – A pair of Knights opened the action for the UCF track and field team as Valerie Lastra and Charlotte Crook started the weekend at the Virginia Challenge.
In her first 5000-meter run of the season, Lastra ran 17:06.13 to finish sixth in her section.
Crook ran 4:23.28 to finish 10th in her section of the 1500-meter run and 22nd overall.
The Knights are back in action at the Virginia Challenge and make their LSU Alumni Gold debut on Saturday.
