ORLANDO – The UCF track and field team heads out for another weekend of outdoor competition, splitting its squad between the Virginia Challenge and the LSU Alumni Gold.
The Knights send their distance squad to the Virginia Challenge. On Friday, Charlotte Crook runs the 1500-meter and Valerie Lastra runs the 5000-meter. Saturday's 800-meter run features Crook, Katie Pinnell, Mariana Rodriguez and Cydni Turner.
Live results will be available for the Virginia Challenge.
UCF is also sending Knights to the LSU Alumni Gold on Saturday. The day begins with the discus at 10:30 a.m. Track events begin at 2:30 p.m.
