#19 UCF Beats the Bulls, 4-0

TAMPA, Fla. – The No. 19 UCF women's tennis team beat the Bulls with a 4-0 sweep on Saturday, April 16, in Tampa, Florida.
 
UCF extended to an eight-match win streak and clinched the overall series over the Bulls as the Knights lead 48-12 to win the all-sports trophy for the sixth consecutive year. To see the breakdown, click here.
 
In doubles, the Knights grabbed wins on the first two courts to clinch the doubles point, setting the tone of the day.
 
Leading the way, Noel Saidenova and Jaleesa Leslie defeated Selin Yaylali and Laura Pellicer with a quick 6-1 decision on court three while on court two Nandini Sharma and Sophia Biolay earned the 7-5 win over Grace Schumacher and Timmermans.
 
No. 42 Evgeniya Levashova and Marie Mattel were facing Amelia Boy and Sierra Berry but the match went unfinished, 5-5.
 
In singles, UCF dominated its way to a sweep.
 
First, Nandini Sharma extended her win streak to 11 straight after a quick 6-0, 6-1 decision over Selin Yaylali on court six and shortly after No. 94 Marie Mattel earned another big win over Amelia Boy with a score of 6-0, 6-2 as the Knights led 3-0.
 
Noel Saidenova then defeated Sierra Berry on court two, 6-2, 6-3 to clinch the match and the sweep.
 
Three matches went unfinished as No. 105 Evgeniya Levashova was up against Grace Schumacher, 6-7, while Jaleesa Leslie was leading over Laura Pellicer, 6-4, 3-3, and Sophia Biolay was charging over Kiana Mokhatri, 6-3, 3-1.
