#19 UCF Sweeps #43 Tulsa

TULSA, Oklahoma – The No. 19 UCF women's tennis team swept No. 43 Tulsa on Sunday, April 10, with a score of 4-0 from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
 
The Knights got to see the AAC Championship Tournament courts while extending to a seven-match win streak.
 
UCF started off strong in doubles as all three courts led 4-2 and clinched the doubles point.
 
Noel Saidenova and Jaleesa Leslie were unable to hold on to their lead, falling to Ana Naranjo Martinez and Lily Hutchings, 4-6.
 
But on court two, Nandini Sharma and Sophia Biolay won, 6-4, over Shura Poppe and Laia Conde Monfort.
 
The doubles point came down to a tiebreak on court one and No. 29 Evgeniya Levashova and Marie Mattel were victorious with a 7-6(5) win over Valeriya Rozenkova and Maria Berlanga.
 
In singles action, No. 84 Marie Mattel was in complete control as she dominated to a 6-2, 6-0 win over Valeriya Rozenkova on court four, extending to a five-match win streak and giving the Knights a 2-0 lead.
 
Nandini Sharma was not far behind, earning a 6-3, 6-4 win over Lian Benedejcic on court six. Sharma is now on a ten-match win streak on court six.
 
Jaleesa Leslie then grabbed a win in straight sets over Maria Berlanga, 6-3, 7-5, on court three to clinch the match for the Knights.
 
Three matches remained but went unfinished.
 
No. 91 Evgeniya Levashova was battling Laia Conde Monfort on court one, 4-6, 3-3 while Sophia Biolay was facing Lily Hutchings on court five, 6-7(4), 1-3 and Noel Saidenova was in her third set against Shura Poppe on court two, 6-4, 2-6, 1-0.
