Knights Tied for Sixth After Day One at Coral Creek Club Invitational

ORLANDO – The UCF men's golf team wrapped up the first two rounds of the Coral Creek Club Invitational on Monday in Placida, Florida and the Knights are tied for sixth place after shooting 574(+6).

Following the first round, UCF was tied for third after posting a 285(+1) score, but a 289(+4) round two dropped them to sixth.

Johnny Travale currently sits tied for fourth place in the tournament with a 138(-4) score after the senior posted back-to-back rounds at 2-under 69.

Second on the squad and tied for 16th overall is freshman Jonah Leach. Playing in his first collegiate event in the Black and Gold, Leach shot 2-under 69 in round one before following it up with a 2-over 73 round two, bringing him to an even 142 overall.

UCF sophomore Egor Eroshenko was solid on day one for the Knights, shooting a 3-over 74 in round one before settling in with a 1-under 70 round two, bringing his total to 144(+2).

Rounding things out for the Knights, seniors Luis Carrera and Clement Charmasson turned in scored of 151(+9) and 155(+13), respectively.

Playing as an individual, UCF senior Markus Braadlie is currently tied for in 85th place with a 162(+20) total.
