ORLANDO – The UCF track and field team continues its indoor season this weekend as the Knights make the trip to Virginia Tech for the Hokie Invite.

The Knights will be joined by 11 other programs this weekend, including Louisville, Virginia, Duke, Clemson, Wake Forest, NC State, North Carolina, Tennessee, UNC Charlotte, Georgetown and the host Hokies.
Action begins with the heptathlon Friday morning at 11 a.m., before the track events begin at 5 p.m. with the mile. Saturday competition resumes at 11 a.m. with the long jump. Live results will be provided by Flash Results.
Admission and parking are both free for spectators. For those attending, please read Virginia Tech Athletics' new vaccination announcement and comply with all COVID-19 related policies.
The Knights are back in action after a record-setting opening weekend. Charlotte Crook opened the indoor season with a school record 1000-meter run. A pair of Knights set records in the 400-meter dash, highlighted by Latasha Smith's UCF record 53.16 to win the event and Kiah Williams' freshman record 54.46 to finish second.
