ORLANDO – UCF Softball head coach Cindy Ball-Malone announced the addition of Kama Woodall to the Knights' roster on Sunday.
Woodall, a right-handed pitcher, comes to UCF from East Carolina, where she played for the Pirates for two seasons from 2020-21. Prior to that, she was at NC State for the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
In her two season with the Pirates, Woodall posted a 3.44 ERA in 234 innings. She complied 132 strikeouts and was 12-21 in the circle.
Woodall is coming off a career-year in 2021 after posting a 3.36 ERA in a career-high 187.1 innings pitched at ECU. The Spring Hill, Florida native led the Pirates in innings pitched, ERA, wins, appearances, strikeouts and more.
In two years to begin her career at NC State, Woodall pitched 156 total innings. She owned a 3.23 ERA and struck out 94 batters. She finished her career with the Wolfpack 12-13.
