ORLANDO – While the UCF football team was getting its first road win of the season this weekend, 14 former Knights saw action in week 8 of the NFL season, including a pair in Tre'Quan Smith and Gabriel Davis who caught touchdown passes.
Smith caught three passes for 33 yards and a touchdown in the New Orleans Saints' win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. He has now caught 15 touchdowns in his four-year career with the Saints.

Davis, meanwhile, caught four passes for 29 yards and a score in the Buffalo Bills' win over the Miami Dolphins this weekend. His second touchdown reception of the season, Davis now has nine in just two seasons in the NFL.

Another pair of Knights made their NFL debuts over the weekend. Aaron Robinson came off of the physically unable to perform list for the New York Giants and played Monday night against the Chiefs. Tay Gowan, after getting traded from the Arizona Cardinals to the Philadelphia Eagles, played Sunday in a win over the Detroit Lions.
